A prolific artist, educator, and collector, Scherer's aesthetic extends through all aspects of his life. Since completing his studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Independent Study Program of the Whitney Museum of American Art, Sean Scherer has exhibited extensively in North America and Europe.
In 2002 Sean moved to the Catskills region and, shortly after that, opened up Kabinett & Kammer. Kabinett & Kammer is the expression of Sean Scherer's ethos and vision. The store functions as a curated gallery space, the culmination of years of collecting and pursuing the extraordinary.
Sean's interiors have been widely published, including features in the New York Times, House Beautiful, Country Living, and Sweet Paul Magazine.
